Bullying by women is often less noticed by management than male bullying – but policy should always be in place to

avoid any kind of staff intimidation

A recent survey carried out on behalf of public-sector union Unison showed that 33 per cent of young women at work had been bullied in the last six months, and 66 per cent of these said that the bullying was ongoing. It may come as a surprise that the majority of these young women were being bullied not by male managers but by women in the workplace.
