There will be back-office job losses at British Airways as a result of the airline’s likely merger with Iberia, BA chief executive Willie Walsh has warned.
Walsh, who will retain his position in the merged company, called Top Co, told Sky News that job cuts among back-office staff would be inevitable if the plans to merge with the Spanish airline go ahead.
