Belief in climate change is protected at work
There has been a great deal of controversy over what kind of philosophical belief will be protected under the Employment Equality (Religion or Belief) Regulations 2003, since an amendment was made in 2007.It has led to questions over whether or not extreme political beliefs – for example, those associated with the BNP, animal rights activists, or even football supporters - might come within the scope of the legislation.
