Companies continue to show pay restraint, says CBI

Half of companies are planning to freeze pay in their next review, even as the economy begins its recovery, according to a new survey.Research by the CBI and recruitment firm Harvey Nash found that just 4 per cent of employers planned an above inflation pay rise.
