Greater Manchester Police aims for back-office efficiency

Greater Manchester Police is attempting to cut its back-office functions by up to 40 per cent, delegates heard at the CIPD annual conference.Cathy Butterworth, director of people and development, said that reducing back-office staff was not only a “priority” but also “the right thing to do”.
