Abbey and Age Concern boosts engagement with mentoring
A mentoring scheme between Abbey and Age Concern finishes this month, with leaders from both organisations saying they have learnt from the experience.
The scheme involved four executive team leaders from Abbey mentoring four of Age Concern’s local chief executives, with both personal and group sessions aimed at sharing best practice. The scheme was focused on managing change at a time when charities are increasingly facing cost pressures and competitive challenges familiar to the private sector.
