BBC opens training resources to competitors and public
Internal training at the BBC is being opened up to competitors and the public, in an "unprecedented move" by the corporation.
The new BBC Academy, the corporation's centre of excellence for training which was officially launched yesterday, has signed partnership agreements with rivals Channel 4, ITV, independent producers' trade body Pact and broadcasters’ union Bectu, to share training and resources.
