HR professionals expect small pay rises in 2010
HR professionals in the public and voluntary sectors expect minimal pay rises in the next year while many in the private sector are slightly more optimistic, according to this year’s Personnel Reward Survey from the CIPD and Croner Reward.
The survey of over 5,000 HR professionals found that public- and voluntary-sector HR workers predict that they will receive an average 2 per cent increase next year, while those in the private sector believe they will get a 3 per cent increase on average.
