Public-sector workers still expect pay rises in 2010

The CIPD’s yearly pay survey shows that despite the government’s 1 per cent salary cap, over half of all public-sector workers expect to get a pay rise next year.In the survey of 2,500 employees, conducted by YouGov, 57 per cent of public-sector staff said they were optimistic about a pay rise in 2010.
