This year’s CIPD People Management Awards attracted a record 247 entries – almost 100 more than the previous record. So the overall winner, Pace plc, and the other five category winners really had to be the best
A British-based digital technology developer, Pace plc, is the overall winner of the 2009 CIPD People Management Awards because, in the words of the judging panel, “it highlights in an incontrovertible way the power of business-focused HR to transform the performance and profitability of a company”.

Pace got through to the final by winning the change management category, and it’s an inspiring example of success in that area.
