Change needed to reflect altered demographics, says Baroness Prosser

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has renewed its call for the abolition of the default retirement age (DRA).
As the House of Lords today debates an amendment to the equality bill that could open the door for an early removal of the DRA, the equality body pushed for the limit to be removed on economic as well as social grounds.
