Stonewall index shows how sexual orientation has become mainstream issue
A record number of organisations have competed for the title of Britain’s most gay-friendly employer, according to gay rights campaigner Stonewall.The diversity champion will be announcing its 2010 Work Equality Index next week, and received over 350 applications for this year’s Top 100 Employers list. The success of the list shows how tolerance and diversity in sexual orientation has become a mainstream issue for Britain’s workplaces.
