Kent County Council reforms performance-related pay
Kent County Council is reforming its staff pay system to make it more performance-related, in a move which it says makes its reward more flexible.
The current system of incremental pay increases will be replaced by percentage increases which are more closely linked to individual performance. The council said it is “transforming” its reward system to promote fairer staff recognition and is currently consulting with staff.
