Men now competing for ‘traditionally female’ jobs, finds study
Men are pushing women out of the labour market and on to benefits as the sexes compete for the same jobs, a study has found.The struggle for jobs in former industrial areas has seen men apply for roles traditionally considered "women’s work", according to new research form Sheffield Hallam University and the University of Dundee.
