More than intuition

Gillian Hibberd’s HR column, “Higher consciousness” (3 December), was unfortunate in that it placed an emphasis on HR professionals using their intuition.In the current climate of rapid change and financial crisis, this sets HR back considerably. Positioning ourselves as the social conscience of organisations is taking a step back in terms of strategic value.
