Public to be given say in MP expenses system

A public consultation on changes to how MPs claim expenses was launched yesterday by the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority (Ipsa).

The core of the recommendations proposed by Sir Christopher Kelly in November 2009 will now be open to public scrutiny.
