As part of its transforming membership journey, the CIPD is inviting HR professionals to become volunteer membership upgrade assessors. This voluntary role will be a vital part of the new pathway to professional CIPD membership.
As Sue Upton, CIPD director of membership, recently outlined, a newly created associate member level is being introduced, sitting below the existing chartered member and chartered fellow levels (CIPD Report, 19 November). This will provide professional recognition for those HR professionals who are making a substantial contribution to their organisations but who are not yet at chartered member standard.
