Ethnic minorities well-represented in UK universities

Ethnic minorities in Britain are now better represented in higher education than their share of the general population, according to a study by Race for Opportunity. However, they are still under-represented at top quality institutions and are less likely to find work after graduating, found an analysis of official statistics by the campaign group, which is part of part of Business in the Community. The report, "Race into Higher Education", used an analysis both of the Office of National Statistics’ Labour Force Survey and the Higher Education Statistics Agency’s "HESA Student Record".
