UK discrimination law applies to work done “wholly or partly” in this country. BA’s Hong Kong-based cabin attendants tried to claim race and age discrimination here. In a typical year they would complete 28 flight cycles to the UK, involving debriefings after each flight and about 58 hours in hotels until the return flight.
