Sheffield City Council’s bonus system ruled sex discriminatory
Sheffield City Council could be set for a wave of pay compensation claims after the Court of Appeal ruled that its bonus system was sex discriminatory.
Male-dominated occupations – such as gardeners and rubbish collectors – have been receiving bonus payments for decades, whilst Sheffield’s mainly female carers received no such incentive pay.
