Consultation produces new plan for Land Registry cuts

Plans for staff cuts and restructuring at the Land Registry were amended after a consultation and are now going ahead with greater employee support, its HR director told PM .

The Accelerated Transformation Programme, aimed at making the department more commercial in the light of the unpredictable housing market, originally involved five planned office closures and extensive job cuts.
