Deutsche Telekom introduces female manager quotas
A female quota will be introduced by Deutsche Telekom to ensure 30 per cent of its senior managers are women by 2015, the company has announced.
The telecoms giant is the first large firm to introduce such a level of positive discrimination in its native Germany. The mobile company – which owns the T-Mobile network in the UK – said the controversial move was essential for adding value to the company in the long term.
