MPs ‘alarmed’ by low morale at HMRC
MPs have voiced alarm over low staff morale and engagement at HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) and have questioned its performance.
The department has been under continuous transformation since it formed in 2005 and has reduced staff numbers by more than 17,000 over the past five years.
