MPs to be allowed to employ only one family member
MPs will be permitted to employ one family member in the next parliament, an independent watchdog has said, despite public concerns about nepotism and a lack of transparency.
The row over family employees erupted last year when Conservative MP Derek Conway was found to be paying his wife and two sons for work he could not prove they were doing.
