Network Rail seek injunction to prevent national strike

Network Rail is seeking a court injunction against next week’s national rail strike, insisting there were “scores of inaccuracies and discrepancies” in the union strike ballot.

Rail union RMT has announced a four-day walkout from 6 April in a row over job cuts and safety, after its ballot of nearly 6,000 members resulted in only a slim majority (54 per cent) voting in favour of strike action.
