Scottish local authorities tackle violence against staff
Local authorities in Scotland have issued new guidelines to protect public-facing staff from violence in the workplace.The Scottish Centre for Healthy Working Lives has issued joint best practice guidelines with the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (CoSLA) and the Scottish Trades Union Congress (STUC), in an effort to stamp out the risk of physical and verbal abuse.
