Stagecoach launches ‘healthy heart bus’

Transport group Stagecoach has launched a voluntary heart health screening programme for its staff after its chief executive personally bankrolled the project.

The Healthy Heart Bus, launched in Scotland last week, will tour the country’s bus depots providing free heart check-ups for employees. It aims to give the whole company the chance of being screened within three to four years, with staff with three years’ experience being given the first opportunity.
