Tories plan ‘service academy’ for training unemployed people
The Conservatives plan to set up a "service academy" if elected that would create up to 50,000 work and training places for the unemployed through partnerships with employers.
The party has announced that 11 top hospitality businesses have signed up to help design and lead the plans, including PizzaExpress, Starbucks, InterContinental Hotel Group and Whitbread.
