Unemployment falls for third consecutive month
Unemployment has fallen by 33,000 in the past three months to 2.45 million, the largest drop in unemployment for two and a half years, official figures revealed today.
The number of people claiming Jobseekers’ Allowance has also dropped by 32,300 from the month before.
