Alliance Trust and Burberry recognised for gender-diverse boards

UK employers that have addressed gender inequality and created workplaces where women can succeed were recognised by the Opportunity Now awards this week.

Investment company Alliance Trust and luxury goods retailer Burberry each won awards for their gender-diverse boards. Of the FTSE-100 companies, they have the most women on their boards overall, at 43 per cent.
