Connor v Surrey County Council
The Court of Appeal has upheld a claim for stress by a former head teacher, on the basis that her employer had been negligent in failing to consider that she was at risk of psychiatric injury due to the actions and behaviour of two members of the school’s governing body.Connor had been the head teacher of the school and had produced good results for five years when two new governors were elected to the governing body.
