Surging inflation ‘won’t be matched by pay rises’

The recent sharp rise in inflation is unlikely to be matched by pay rises over the coming year, according to reward experts.The latest RPI figure from March showed a dramatic increase, up to 4.4 per cent from 3.7 per cent the month before, and has been rising since the end of last year.
