Businesses should be hit with graduate tax, says union

Employers and unions in the university sector have clashed over how to plug the staff and infrastructure funding gap, and save jobs in higher education.The Russell Group, which represents 20 top research universities, said that students should be tapped for the extra money, while the University and Colleges Union (UCU) called for businesses to fork out.
