Migration figures show Eastern Europeans departing UK

The number of Eastern European migrants leaving the UK now outnumbers those arriving for the first time, according to the latest official figures.

There were 45,000 arrivals of A8 nationals in the 12 months to September 2009, compared to 57,000 departures, Home Office data revealed.
