Restrict migration of unskilled EU workers, says Ed Balls
Labour party leadership contender Ed Balls has called for the free movement of unskilled workers in Europe to be curtailed.Balls revealed his stance on immigration in an interview with the BBC’s Politics Show , as he suggested rewriting European Union rules on the free movement of labour. He told the programme’s presenter, Andrew Marr, that large influxes of unskilled workers were putting unsustainable strain on communities like his Yorkshire constituency of Morley and Outwood.
