UK workers’ health suffers from taking insufficient breaks
Poor working practices are damaging staff health and costing the economy over £35 billion a year, new research has found.
Not taking sufficient breaks and working in the same position for extended periods, plus going to work when ill or stressed, are proving seriously detrimental to employees’ physical and mental health, according to a survey by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).
