Reports have focused on the GMB union’s claim that his salary is “outrageous,” yet under his leadership Tidemill has been transformed over the past nine years and is now rated as outstanding by Ofsted. Parents have been quoted as saying Mr Elms is an “inspiration” and “worth every penny”.
