Hospital turns to robots for help
A new hospital in Scotland is to use robots to carry out tasks that would otherwise be carried out by porters or orderlies.When it opens in August, the Forth Valley Royal Hospital in Larbert, Stirlingshire, will employ robots to clean operating theatres, dispense pharmacy drugs, carry clinical waste and deliver food.
