OBR confirms UK faces 600,000 public-sector job losses

Public-sector job losses in the UK are forecast to hit 600,000 roles over the next six years, the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) has confirmed.

The OBR forecasts that there will be 490,000 job losses by 2015 and 610,000 by 2016.
