A research paper on the role of accountancy practitioners in providing HR and employment relations advice to small- and medium-sized enterprises was the winner of the 2010 Professor Ian Beardwell prize at the conference.Written by Robin Jarvis of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and Michael Rigby of London South Bank University, it won through from a shortlist of peer-reviewed papers presented at the conference.
