The burqa may be outlawed in Spain

Spain has become the latest European country to consider a ban on wearing the Islamic full-face veil – part of the burqa – in public. Following bans in France and Belgium last month, Spanish regional authorities, including the city of Barcelona, have banned the veil among municipal workers and visitors to its buildings.
