The trend for senior HR roles to require more commercial experience is set to grow, according to Karen McCormick, vice president HR at Kellogg’s Europe.

McCormick, formerly chief executive of the Cheshire Building Society, was recruited by Kellogg's in February to cover maternity leave for Karen Meehan until January 2011.
