Tribunal claims have doubled, latest figures show

Statistics recently published by the Tribunal Service show a massive 56 per cent increase in claims during the year up to 31 March 2010. In the previous year there were 151,000 claims, and this rose to 236,100 claims in 2009-10, although some of these were claims with multiple jurisdictions rather than purely employment claims.
