Two-thirds of NHS staff admit working while sick
Two-thirds of NHS employees have turned up for work when not well enough to carry out their job, while almost a quarter suffer harassment or abuse from patients, a new survey has revealed.One in five respondents believed their role was bad for their health and a third of NHS staff said they had suffered from work-related stress in the last 12 months, according to an online survey of 19,000 health service workers by employee benefits provider NHS Discounts.
