Lessons learnt from a slim crop of ‘information and consultation’ cases
The Central Arbitration Committee (CAC) recruited additional members to deal with the increase in cases expected when the Information and Consultation of Employees Regulations 2004 (ICE) were implemented. In fact, cases have averaged only six a year and there were just 10 complaints in the year ending March 2010.
