Private-sector demand unlikely to offset public job cuts, says CIPD
The number of redundancies could return to last year’s recessionary levels, with the public sector the hardest hit, the CIPD’s latest research has found.
For the second successive quarter, the number of employers intending to make redundancies has risen along with the number of planned job losses per organisation, according to this quarter’s Labour Market Outlook from the CIPD and KMPG.
