Staff parking tax could cost workers £350 a year

Employees who drive to work could be hit with a new car parking tax as a growing number of local authorities consider the fund-raising measure.

Motorists may be charged up to £350 per year to park at their workplace under the scheme, as council plans to introduce the levy gather pace despite the change in government, the Daily Telegraph has reported.
