Women on broadcasters’ boards are double UK average, finds report

The broadcast industry has double the national average of women at board level, according to new statistics released by the sector watchdog.

A quarter of board members are female, compared to the national average of 12 per cent for FTSE 100 companies, said the Broadcast Equality and Training Regulator (BETR).
