BBC staff vote to walk out over pension cuts
Workers at the BBC have voted to strike by an overwhelming majority in protest at proposed changes to the broadcaster’s pension scheme.
More than 90 per cent of unionised staff at the corporation have backed industrial action, after broadcast union Bectu, the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) and Unite collectively balloted their members in response to pension cuts.
