‘Guaranteed’ bank bonuses in decline, finds research

Banks have drastically cut their use of guaranteed and multi-year bonuses for employees, a new industry report has found.

The Institute of International Finance (IIF) said its latest research shows that most major banks are now implementing compensation practices that are in line with the international standards published by the Financial Stability Board (FSB) in September last year.
